Step 1. Add roughly 1 gram or 1 teaspoon of  Premium Skinny Organic Matcha Powder to a mug or cup.

Step 2.Add a small amount of cold water to the Premium Skinny Organic Matcha Powder, or if you have a kettle that can boil exactly to 80 C you can skip the cold water. Matcha powder is just like regular green tea, where if the water is too hot, the tea will be bitter. If youve gone the route of adding a small amount of cold water, mix the Organic Skinny Matcha powder and the cold water together into a paste. Now you can add roughly 40-50ml of boiling water.

Step 3.Whisk vigorously in a figure 8 motion until frothy

MATCHA BLISS BALLS

INGREDIENTS

1 cup of almond meal
1 1/2 tablespoons of quinoa flakes
8 dates
Coconut water
2 1/2 tablespoons of coconut oil
2 teaspoons of chia seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons of Skinny Organic Matcha powder
1 scoop of protein powder
4 tablespoons of coconut

METHOD

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until mixture becomes moist and consistent.
2. Once blended, roll the mixture into balls of your desired size.
3. Place in the fridge for 2 hours.
4. ENJOY!

RAW VANILLA MATCHA MINI CHEESECAKES

INGREDIENTS

Base
1/2 cup of almonds (or mixed nuts of choice) 
1/8 cup shredded coconut 
2 Tbsp sugarfree chocolate powder 
1/4 cup dried figs (soaked overnight or 15mins in boiling water and drained)
Add almonds to food processor and blend for a few seconds. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until crumbly.
Press into silicon muffin tray with your fingers, and put in the freezer while you make the filling

Filling 
2 cups raw cashews (soaked overnight or 5 hours)
1/3 cup granulated stevia 
1/4 cup  almond coconut milk unsweetened
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp Skinny Organic Matcha (or more to taste)

METHOD

Blend all ingredients until really smooth, scraping down edges as required. Spoon over base and put in the freezer overnight.

Topping (optional)

Sweet Coconut Vanilla or Matcha Cream Icing
1 can full fat coconut cream (left in the fridge overnight)
1/4 cup sugarfree icing sugar 
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1/2 tsp Skinny Organic Matcha powder(for matcha cream)
Blend with electric beaters until fluffy. Put into piping bag and ice the cheesecakes if desired.

Store in the freezer without toppings.
Eat straight from the freezer, no thawing required!

TOP DECK MATCHA SLICE

INGREDIENTS

255g Organic macadamia nut butter
1 & 1/2 cups of Organic medjool dates
3 cups sea salt (Roughly chopped)
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup cacao powder
2/3 cup coconut oil
200g  white chocolate
1 teaspoon Premium Skinny Organic Matcha + more to sprinkle on top
2 teaspoons of cacao nibs to sprinkle on top

METHOD

1. Place dates into mixing bowl and soften with 3 teaspoons of boiling water. Using the back of a large cooking spoon to mash the dates into a paste like consistency.
2. Melt coconut oil in a small saucepan then add it to the date mixture.
3. Add macadamia butter, cacao powder, desicated coconut and stir. Once evenly mixed add the roughly chopped popcorn.
4. Line a baking tin with baking paper and firmly press the chocolate popcorn mixture into the tin. Refrigerate immediately!
5. Once its firm to touch you know its set! Time to make the white chocolate matcha topping!
6. Melt the white chocolate over the stove on a low/medium heat. Be careful not to over cook the chocolate!! Once completely melted remove from heat and set aside.
7. Add Skinny Organic Matcha powder to the white chocolate and stir throughly. Spread evenly over the chocolate popcorn slice and place it back in the fridge to set!
8. Remove the slice before the chocolate has become completely hard and brittle. Use a sharp knife to cut into squares. Return to fridge for the final time. Cover the slice and leave it in the fridge till its needed. Serve by sprinkling matcha powder and cacao nibs on top.

MATCHA BANANA VANILLA PANCAKES

RECIPE

Serves 1-2; makes about 6-7 small pancakes

Ingredients

1 medium banana
1 egg
1 teaspoon of Skinny Organic Matcha
teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Coconut oil to cook

Method:

1.Blend the banana in a small food processor and set aside.

2.In a medium mixing bowl whisk the egg for a few minutes until slightly pale. Combine the vanilla, cinnamon and Skinny Organic Matcha with the blended banana. Whisk through thoroughly.

3.Heat a small non-stick pan with a teaspoon of coconut oil. Cook as per normal pancakes; just keeping the sizes small to easily flip.

4.Serve with toppings of your choice. We have served these with organic blueberries, sour cherries, bee pollen, a drizzle of rice malt syrup and dusted with some extra matcha on top.

Additional Notes:

Organic ingredients wherever possible.
Keep the size of the pancakes small, as itll be easier to flip without breaking as these are flourless.
Re-oil the pan with about half a teaspoon of coconut between each pancake to prevent it from sticking.
